Process & Equipment Skids

We fabricate custom, easy-to-install process and equipment skids that tie into your existing or new system. Mead & Hunt’s design, procurement, and fabrication teams coordinate closely to fabricate modular skids with interconnecting piping, preinstallation of instruments and valves, controls, and wiring. Each skid arrives in one piece, fully verified and ready to be put to work.

3D Modeling & Design Documentation

Mead & Hunt works closely with you to understand and develop the custom equipment you need. Prior to fabrication, we model your system in its entirety and incorporate field dimensions for accuracy. Mead & Hunt designs systems for ease of operation and serviceability. Our experienced modelers use AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Advanced Steel software, working through complex design elements virtually and working through any factors that might impact field installation. We provide you with 3D general arrangement drawings with detailed bill of materials for review and approval, along with an inspection and test plan.

On-Site Installation

Following in-shop preassembly, Mead & Hunt’s fabricators offer on-site installation support to integrate the fabricated components with your other equipment, simplify installation logistics, and provide superior quality control.
