As an 85-year-old facility, the Milwaukee Readiness Center required significant improvements to continue effectively serving the needs of the Wisconsin Army National Guard (WIARNG). Mead & Hunt provided design services for the renovation of this historic building. Beginning with a feasibility study that identified critical facility shortfalls, the team developed a three-phase plan for a complete facility restoration. Phase I focused on critical systems, with Phases II and III focusing on additional modernization. This approach meant that each phase provided complete and usable scopes of work. The final project equipped WIARNG with a modern facility similar to newer ones being funded today.
