As Mead & Hunt’s Market Leader for Aviation Equity Strategies, Anita Cobb has been a driving force in developing the company’s employee resource initiatives and firm equity strategies. Anita is responsible for equity-based programming and training for professionals across the AEC industry, lending to her multimodal, multifaceted catalog of approaches. She has a passion for, and specializes in, matters related to environmental justice, community collaboration, youth education, mentorship, and family empowerment. No matter the task at hand, Anita brings her focused and fun energy into every interaction.
Anita has led and assisted with various equity-based programs and projects, spoken at several aviation conferences, and is actively involved in a number of professional organizations and committees.

- Spoke at the 2022 American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Annual Conference on Unconscious Bias
- Spoke at the 2023 Northeast Chapter – American Association of Airport Executives (NEC/AAAE) Annual Conference
- Has been selected to speak at the NEC/AAAE’s first Inclusion in Aviation Conference in November 2023
- Recipient of the 2023 AMAC Emerging Leaders Award
- Led the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport Equity Learning Series
- Served as a leader in the partnership between Mead & Hunt and Project Confluence
- Volunteers with industry non-profits, such as the STEM STAR Alliance and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Dream Big Program
