March ARB Aircraft Maintenance Hangar

March Air Reserve Base’s aircraft hangar was 55 years old and needed a complete renovation. Mead & Hunt reconstructed the building envelope, made interior improvements, and incorporated seismic upgrades to deliver a LEED Silver certified facility that effectively provides space for training, maintenance and storage. Improvements included: new energy-efficient HVAC, hot water and lighting systems; new roof and exterior siding; a new High Expansion Foam (HEF) fire suppression system, including site utilities and fire alarm system; and all new interior administration, training and support areas.
