Our client needed to identify opportunities for water reuse and improved wastewater treatment at their Dairy facility. Mead & Hunt conducted an evaluation of the water, wastewater treatment and beverage lines at the facility for this purpose. Our team evaluated the current operations of the treatment systems, reviewed system drawings, water usage, cost and treatment spreadsheets and looked for potential areas for water reuse. We evaluated the production line clean in place (CIP) water, reverse osmosis (RO) reject water, and membrane areas for water usage and potential reclaim water options. Our evaluation will also be used to identify opportunities for water reuse and optimize the wastewater treatment system at a future facility for the Client.
