South Dakota ARNG Energy Audits

Mead & Hunt Company (formerly Ambient Energy) performed nine ASHRAE Level II audits that assisted the SDARNG achieve energy reductions. Audits included identifying and providing potential savings and cost analysis for all practical energy, water conservation and renewable energy measures.

The team analyzed SDARNG’s historic utility use and cost and developed Energy Utilization Index (EUI) of the building, followed by developing a list of potential improvements opportunities and associated costs. The audit included building envelope systems, heating and cooling systems, interior and exterior lighting, motors, ventilation, boilers, chillers, and domestic hot water systems.
