The Rock County Courthouse needed physical and technology security improvements along with mechanical/electrical systems to several areas within the courthouse building. Working with Potter Lawson Architects, Mead & Hunt provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing/fire protection, technology, and security design services for the project. These improvements helped to screen the public from other staff work areas, and provided a badging intake area for staff. The project also included repairs to the parking structure, as well as security upgrades in the west lobby entrance. Finally, the project added a new stair and an elevator to make the facility ADA accessible. These security improvements enhance efficiency at the courthouse to better meet their needs, now and in the future.
