NEPA Compliance for Midland-Odessa International Air & Space Port

Midland, Texas is the crossroads of the Permian Basin and a major transportation conduit along the La Entrada Al Pacifico, or Corridor to the Pacific, that runs from West Texas to the Gulf of California. Midland-Odessa International Air and Space Port (MAF) is an important component of this corridor. The airport needed to focus on the integration of landside development and improvements that firmly link it to La Entrada, as well as address non-standard airfield conditions by curing existing deficiencies in dimensional criteria. To help achieve these goals, Mead & Hunt provided National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance for various projects at the airport, including a runway extension and an industrial park development.
