The Mojave Air and Space Port in California needed repairs and improvements for various areas in order to maintain efficiency and growth. Mead & Hunt completed multiple projects as part of an on-call contract for the air and space port. Our team provided National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and design for proposed access roads to rocket engine test sites, as well as California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance for airside projects including a hangar, runway rehabilitation, and taxiway improvements. Additionally, we provided design and construction management for airfield pavements Taxiway C and Runway 12-30. These improvements will allow the air and space port to serve users for years to come.
