The NC 49 (South Tryon Street) corridor in southwest Charlotte was anticipated to experience increased traffic volumes, congestion and crashes. Mead & Hunt completed an interchange improvement study to reduce congestion and improve traffic operations in this area. A new traffic forecast was completed after the submittal of our initial analysis and conceptual designs, prompting additional traffic analysis. Mead & Hunt completed all deliverables, including conceptual designs, traffic memorandums, a quantity estimate and Project Scoping Reports.
