The Richland County School District One required the construction of a 6,500-square foot culinary arts facility, as well as a 4,700-square foot classroom addition to the existing Heyward Career and Technology Center building in Columbia, South Carolina. The new culinary arts facility and addition help the district better serve the needs of their students, as well as meet current and future growth goals. Mead & Hunt was selected to perform construction services for this project, including International Code Council (ICC) Chapter One (1) Building Inspection(s), ICC Chapter Seventeen (17) Special Inspection(s), and construction materials testing.
