Ride II Dirt Road Paving Program

Horry County needed to improve and pave dirt roads that had been on the paving list for decades. They partnered with Mead & Hunt to accomplish this. Our services for the Program included management, survey, environmental, design, utility coordination, right-of-way acquisition, bidding, construction staking, and construction engineering and inspection. The total Program consisted of 191 projects, requiring the acquisition of 1,400 easements. Mead & Hunt completed the Program with a savings of $51.7 million, 47% under budget.
