Battle Creek Air National Guard Base was selected as the beddown site for a new Cyber Operations unit. The project converted and reconfigured portions of Building 6922 to incorporate the Cyber Operations Squadron (COS). The new 22,789 SF facility includes a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and is sized to support multiple cyber operations flights, a cyber operations floor, command and control, training and testing, cyber operations support and maintenance, a server bay, and other support functions. The COS space was designed as primarily SCIF level space with the remaining COS area as open office.
