About Dr. K.V. (Bala) Balasubramanyam, PE

Dr. K.V. (Bala) Balasubramanyam is Mead & Hunt’s National Bridge Design Practice Leader, Principal, and a Vice President serving the Transportation sector out of our Columbus, Ohio office. He has decades of experience in bridge inspection, design, and detailing, encompassing nearly all types of prestressed concrete, steel and reinforced concrete bridges. Outside of work, Bala is a college football and cricket fan and watches them regularly; spends time with family watching Hindi, Tamil & Hollywood movies; and plays card games such as poker, Indian and Gin Rummy.
