Landfill Gas and Electric Power
As we face a changing climate, providing turnkey landfill gas-to-energy facilities that generate electric power and pipeline-quality renewable natural gas (RNG) is more important than ever. Through the execution of approximately 75 landfill gas to RNG and/or electricity projects in more than 25 states, our team has developed a well-honed approach to these types of projects.
As a technology-agnostic engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, we work to deliver the best solution for a landfill’s specific gas flow over time and select quality equipment and technologies to optimize output.
For power generation, this includes reciprocating engines, combustion turbines, microturbines, and fuel cells, as well as heat recovery options, resulting in the most energy-efficient system. For gas upgrading, we advise on technologies that produce RNG, including sacrificial media, temperature swing adsorption (TSA), membrane, water wash, amine, pressure swing adsorption (PSA), cryogenic, and catalytic.
