Mead & Hunt is excited to share that Kristin Moore, CPA, is our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In her 12 years here, Kristin has served in several roles, most recently as Finance Director. She brings 23 years of experience in accounting and finance and holds a master’s degree in business administration. Kristin assumes the role previously held by Dave Schlidt, who is retiring.
As CFO, Kristin works closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to balance growth with financial discipline, while also meeting operational needs. In addition, she engages in multiple company initiatives, including strategic and annual business planning and our operational oversight team. In recent years, Kristin has been responsible for the ongoing growth and continuous improvement of the Finance team to meet the evolving needs of our company.
Kristin is also engaged with several industry organizations, including the Design Finance Officers Group (DFOG), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and the American Institute of CPAs® (AICPA).

For her part, Kristin is eager about this new opportunity. “We’re preparing to leverage new technology to focus on efficiencies, accuracy in reporting, and good decision-making. It’s an exciting time to be in this role,” says Kristin. “I’m grateful for the chance I’ve had to grow at Mead & Hunt, which is an experience I hope to pass along to my team.”
