Mead & Hunt is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Murphy to our Federal team. Tim will serve as the firm’s Military Planning Market Leader, primarily serving the firm’s clients in the Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD federal agencies.
As Mead & Hunt seeks to grow a robust, nationally-recognized military planning program, Tim’s previous experience leading and growing similar programs will prove invaluable. He brings over 35 years of experience in the military, planning, engineering, and design fields, specializing in DoD active and reserve components, and non-DoD federal agency planning and programming. He has served as an active-duty and reserve Air Force Civil Engineer.
“We are excited to expand our capabilities in military planning with Tim’s leadership. His expertise will add value for both our current and our future clients.”
– Jeff Sorenson, Mead & Hunt Vice President for Federal Programs
Tim has worked in all 54 states and territories for the Army National Guard and over 30 locations for the Air National Guard. Additionally, he has worked on projects in the European and Pacific theaters, including the European Defense Initiative, and Pacific Deterrence. This experience and in-depth understanding will help Mead & Hunt to grow and maintain strong connections in the industry.
Tim’s addition will bring increased resources and capabilities for these clients. His role will focus Mead & Hunt’s existing resources and experience into a dedicated business line for the company. This will allow the firm’s involvement during the earliest stages of planning, programming, and infrastructure development as the team works to support our soldiers and airmen by providing optimal living and workspaces, so that they can perform their jobs as efficiently as possible. This in turn supports their missions worldwide.
According to Tim, “I am very happy to be at Mead & Hunt where the corporate values so closely follow my own. I am looking forward to helping grow the Military and Federal Planning capabilities of the company.”
Jeff Sorenson, Mead & Hunt Vice President for Federal Programs, echoes this sentiment, stating, “We are excited to expand our capabilities in military planning with Tim’s leadership. His expertise will add value for both our current and our future clients.”
Above all, the firm seeks to grow when and where it makes sense for the benefit of the communities we serve.
