The City of Deltona, Florida needed to construct over 9,000 linear feet of potable water main sites, 10,000 linear feet of force main, and 11,000 linear feet of reclaimed water main along State Road 415 between Howland Boulevard and Doyle Road. The utilities were constructed in advance of a Florida Department of Transportation four-lane project, which presented many challenges. Mead & Hunt required the contractor to hand-locate existing underground utilities ahead of construction. This resolved conflicts before the pipe installation.
