Our team provided LEED facilitation, energy modeling, a thermal comfort survey, and commissioning services to support the replacement of the air traffic control tower and integrated facilities building at the San Fransico International Airport (SFO).
Sustainable project features include 183 kW of photovoltaics built over the roof of one of the garages. The building is predicted to save 12% in energy use and 33% in potable water use. The roof deck includes a 2,000-square-foot roof garden on the third level for staff enjoyment. Over 75% of construction waste was recycled.
