The City of Baltimore DOT had significant community concerns surrounding traffic circulation and gridlock. Mead & Hunt was selected for an on-call contract to perform traffic engineering and ITS services. These included citywide ITS master planning, traffic signal timing optimization in several areas, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, VMS Design, CCTV design, signal time planning, and traffic analysis.
