Mead & Hunt’s Air Service Group created and implemented Reno-Tahoe International Airport’s (RNO) air service strategy using both traditional and advanced data. The team identified market opportunities to boost airline capacity and stimulate demand in underserved areas.
Mead & Hunt prepared a business case and marketed the air service opportunity to Frontier Airlines. In March 2025, Frontier Airlines began nonstop flights between RNO and Denver International Airport (DEN), as well as Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Following this successful market entry, Frontier Airlines announced plans to add nonstop service between RNO and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) starting November 2025.
