Denver International Airport (DEN) aimed to pursue a LEED Campus verification for use on multiple current and future LEED projects on its campus. Mead & Hunt led the sustainability consulting services to assist the client in easing the LEED campus certification process.
Tasks included LEED facilitation, coordination with USGBC/GBCI on alternative compliance paths for airports, LEED documentation, and cost/benefit analysis. The effort facilitated on several LEED Campus credits to be used for LEED New Construction and LEED Commercial Interiors and LEED for Retail projects.
