Laurie Whitney leads with purpose, delivering forward-thinking, client-focused design solutions while empowering the teams behind them. As Group Leader of Architecture & Building Engineering, Laurie encourages innovation, opens doors to new markets, and keeps people at the center of every decision.
Drawing on extensive experience in federal, health and science, and aviation markets, Laurie guides the strategic direction of Mead & Hunt’s architecture and design team with a focus on client service, professional development, and practical results. She informs the group’s growth and expansion of services while mentoring emerging talent and improving business processes to support long-term success.
Laurie also gives back by serving on the Architecture Program Advisory Board at Madison Area Technical College and mentoring high school students through the ACE Mentor Program of America. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at her cabin with family, soaking in sunset views.
