Mitch Walker Airport Business' Top 40 under 40

Please join me in congratulating Mitch Walker on being named one of Airport Business’s Top 40 Under 40! Each year, Airport Business magazine honors young professionals who really make a difference both in the aviation industry and within their respective communities. Mitch certainly embodies this as he works to promote the aviation industry.

Mitch brings his leadership and passion for aviation architecture to every aspect of his professional life. Since 2009, Mitch has designed and led over 100 aviation projects across the United States, and he is skilled in helping clients navigate complex Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) processes and regulatory requirements. In addition, he seamlessly combines his extensive technical experience with a strong focus on people and environmental stewardship, leading to innovative, effective solutions.

Mitch’s propensity toward connection and communication is one of his key strengths. He is open and empathetic, which allows him to successfully bridge gaps in communication and build consensus among sponsors, stakeholders, designers, and contractors. He brings a unique combination of generational awareness, industry insight and client-focused empathy to his work. This unique ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders leads to better, more effective solutions for challenging airport projects.

Mitch strives to make every aviation project a success. He listens attentively to each client’s goals and vision, he brings the team to consensus, he shares his industry insights, and he excels at procuring funding for owners to make their vision a reality. Ultimately, Mitch views it as his purpose in the industry to make sure our airports are operating as efficiently as possible. Not only does this benefit our national aviation system, but it serves the people and communities in the region as well.

Thank you Mitch for your important contributions to aviation. Your work uplifts the communities and clients we serve. I look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future!
