Congratulations to Matt Quinn for winning the 2024 Outstanding Young Professional Award from the Combined Heat and Power Alliance (CHP Alliance). This coalition recognizes individuals who contribute a voice for the deployment of CHP and waste heat to power (WHP). As Mead & Hunt’s Waste-to-Energy project developer within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)/Renewable Energy group, Matt commits to helping clients reach their economic and resiliency goals while also promoting decarbonization across the energy landscape.
With more than 14 years of experience in distributed generation, Matt’s knowledge spans renewable energy technologies, waste-to-energy solutions, and CHP systems that develop pathways to efficiently generate dispatchable on-site power systems and reduce a facility’s carbon footprint. Matt lays the groundwork for successful projects by working closely with project developers, energy service companies (ECSOs), wastewater treatment plants, manufacturers, and landfills to guide them through the project development phase gates from initial feasibility through full EPC contract. Matt drives innovation and sustainability, leading to a cleaner and more sustainable future for all.
This year’s awards ceremony took place during the National Summit on Combined Heat and Power on Wednesday, September 25, in the main ballroom of the Westin Old Town Alexandria Hotel.
Matt’s outstanding contributions to the industry truly merit this award. Congratulations, Matt, on your well-deserved achievement!
