I am happy to announce that Jori Lemmon, PE, SE has received the 2021 Frederick Panhost Structural Engineer Award. This award is presented by the Sacramento Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is specifically chosen to honor those who demonstrate a notable contribution to the Structural Engineering profession, the ASCE, and the community of Northern California.
Jori has been an integral part of our Mead & Hunt Architecture, Buildings & Engineering (ABE) structural team from the moment she joined our group in July of 2013. Since that time, Jori has grown from a high level performer to our Structural Practice Lead. Not only is she widely recognized in the industry for her technical skills and experience, but Jori’s character, values, ethics, and dignity shine through in everything she does. For Jori, her teammates are always her first priority. Jori builds strong bonds of trust among her team and clients. Her ability to understand the perspectives of others allows us to work cohesively together as a team, leading to more effective project outcomes and more fulfilling client relationships. These strong values exemplify everything we stand for at Mead & Hunt; I can think of no one better than Jori to receive this award.
Jori’s technical mentorship and incredible sense of empathy drive her work and make us all better as a team. Her work has consistently elevated our team and our industry over the years. I congratulate her for this extremely well-deserved honor, and I look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future!
