Hentzen Coatings invited Mead & Hunt’s EPC/Renewable Energy Group as a valued supplier during their 100th Anniversary Celebration held at their Faulkner Road Powder Coating Facility in Milwaukee, WI in September.

Mary Recktenwalt, Environmental Discipline Manager, and Jay Selden, Senior Engineering Technician, from our EPC/Renewable Energy Group, attended alongside Hentzen Coatings employees, suppliers, and customers. Mayor Cavalier Johnson of the City of Milwaukee, an avid supporter of Hentzen Coatings for many years, served as the keynote speaker. He proclaimed September 14 as “Hentzen Coatings Day” for the City of Milwaukee. Tim Sheehy of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Associate of Commerce (MMAC) also spoke at the event.

Hentzen Coatings has been family-owned and operated for 100 years, and is one of only 0.5% of companies in the US that have been in business for more than 100 years. The company produces and supplies liquid and powder coatings for many types of equipment and vehicles, including military, throughout the U.S. and the world. They developed, and are the primary supplier of chemical agent resistant coatings (CARC) used by the military. Their paint is used for the Blue Angels planes and even for Amish buggies. They have manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, South Carolina, Florida, Mexico, India, and China.
Mead & Hunt is a long-time engineering consultant for Hentzen Coatings and is honored to have been selected for this prestigious recognition as a valued supplier for the company.
