Mead & Hunt is dedicated to supporting the future generation of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals. Our scholarship program aims to expand access to education and careers in the AEC industry because fostering emerging talent is essential for the sustainability of our industry. This year, we’ve awarded six scholarships worth $2,500 each to promising AEC students.
Meet our 2025 external scholarship winners
Anniston Pierce plans to study Civil Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Inspired by the lack of walkability in his community, Anniston is excited to improve transportation accessibility for similar communities.
Samantha Liu plans to study Environmental Science and is still deciding which university to choose. Samantha founded a non-profit company to empower youth to protect the environment and aims to start a company focused on people and the planet after college.
Antonette Duff is pursuing an associate’s degree at Consumnes River College and plans to transfer to a four-year college. Antonette plans to pursue a degree in psychology and music therapy so she can help people as a music therapist.
Matthew French is studying Design at Waubonsee Community College. Matthew already has a degree in Construction Management and is returning to school to learn more about sustainable design so he can incorporate sustainable solutions into his projects.
Brooke Bowersox is studying Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Platteville. Brooke plans to become an industrial engineer and is passionate about mentoring young girls in STEM.
Evelyn Duel is studying Architecture at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Evelyn is most interested in residential projects so she can focus on the needs and vision of a community.
Employee Dependent Scholarships

Eligible children of employees submitted applications, transcripts, letters of references, and essays as part of this competitive application process. We’re proud to support these students as they pursue their academic goals and strive for excellence in their chosen fields.
