Using our expansive food facility knowledge, our engineers designed a safe food environment for our client’s almond processing facility with unique features more commonly seen in dairy production. This was in addition to significantly increasing production capacity, which was our client’s foremost priority. The 200,000-square-foot building is a one-of-a-kind, world-leading manufacturing space for processing almonds.
During the project, food processing changes were implemented. Our agile team adapted and fine tuned the design to meet the new requirements while continuing to deliver a sustainable facility designed to meet LEED standards.
Our team provided schematic designs for structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and remained involved throughout the project’s life. This allowed us to answer design questions throughout the construction process and review equipment submittals.
