We are excited to announce that Damon Smith was recently appointed as the Chair of the 2024 Airport Consultants Council (ACC) Board of Directors. ACC focuses on the business interests of firms with airport-related technical expertise, working to inform members of new trends while promoting fair competition and procurement practices that protect the interest of the aviation industry.
Damon has been involved in ACC for two decades and has served on the board for six years. Damon’s 27 years of experience demonstrate his commitment. Through informed decision-making and stakeholder partnership, he has consistently planned, designed, and implemented improvements at airports nationwide.
Damon follows in the footsteps of Mead & Hunt’s CEO Andy Platz, who has previously served as the ACC Board Chair. Andy and Damon are strong supporters of ACC and its vision to deliver excellence in airport development.
