Ormond Beach Western Service Area Master Plan Update

Ormond Beach expects significant population growth in the Western utility service area and is planning to provide potable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water service to an additional 5,800 homes by 2030. Current infrastructure cannot support this amount of growth. As an update to the 2015 Ormond Beach Utility Master Plan, Mead & Hunt evaluated potential demand increases and used a series of models to understand future infrastructure needs in the service area. This resulted in comprehensive recommended improvements related to raw water supply, potable water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, effluent disposal and reclaimed distribution. The Master Plan Update outlined approximately $200 million dollars of recommended improvement projects to implement over the next 20 years.
