The State of Michigan needed to update their aviation system plan to enhance transparency and ease of use. Mead & Hunt worked to develop new criteria for several goals to support the plan’s transparency and usability. The Michigan Aviation System Plan (MASP) has seven primary goals, each of which have an associated development standard used to provide guidance to the airports on facility and service objectives. Four public meetings were held around the state to collect comments on the draft document. Mead & Hunt was able to develop the entire project and provide the final draft report for the Michigan Aeronautics Commission review in just twelve months.
