Zac Elliott, CHST, CRIS
Safety Director Zac Elliott brings deep experience in construction safety and an additional six years working in the building trades. With a master’s in environmental health and safety, Zac is a trusted resource for safety planning, training, and risk mitigation across the firm. He supports project teams through early hazard identification and preplanning, helping create safer outcomes even before work begins. He also delivers continuous, hands-on safety training for employees.
Under Zac’s leadership, Mead & Hunt has earned an impressive 0.57 Experience Modification Rate (EMR), reflecting a safety performance well below industry injury averages. He believes safety starts with caring for people and designing with safety in mind, an approach that positively impacts job sites, client environments, employees, and our communities.
Outside of work, Zac is a craftsman. If he’s not working on a home improvement project, you can find him out on a boat chasing his favorite fish, walleye.
