Woody has decades of experience in the transportation industry, much of which has been in the area of traffic signal timing and operations. As one Mead & Hunt’s signal operations specialists, Woody has developed timing plans for over 3,500 traffic signals in multiple jurisdictions in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In addition, Woody has conducted training sessions for multiple jurisdictions and was a peer reviewer on NCHRP 812 Signal Timing Manual, and various other NCHRP reports.
