John Rathke, PE

John Rathke has spent over three decades in transportation and structural engineering, helping guide Mead & Hunt’s national growth while mentoring the next generation of leaders. As National Market Leader, John brings a people-first mindset and strategic insight to help clients navigate change and deliver impactful infrastructure solutions.

John currently serves as Board Chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), where he champions leadership development, succession planning, and industry-wide collaboration. He’s also an ACEC Fellow and has held numerous national and state-level leadership roles.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and hiking at new places, playing golf and going to Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks games.
