Mike Lopez has joined Mead & Hunt, one of the nation’s leading full-service consulting firms, augmenting the Aviation Services group and further expanding their air service development consulting services.
Mike brings over 20 years of relevant industry knowledge and experience to the group. For the past eight years, he was in leadership roles at Accenture/Seabury Consulting, heading up their airport and air service development consulting practice where he worked with numerous destination marketing organizations. Mike successfully developed the business case which resulted in numerous new routes on behalf of his clients, including recruitment of new airlines. Prior to Accenture/Seabury, Mike was Director, Network Planning at United/Continental Airlines with responsibility for their Houston, Newark and Cleveland hubs.
Mike’s network planning background and knowledge of airline strategies are tremendous assets to the Mead & Hunt team. In addition, Mike is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and community meetings and has represented his clients at industry conferences around the world. He has been actively involved in several industry organizations, including Airport Council International – North America (ACI-NA) and American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
