Specifically, she will explore decarbonization from two key perspectives: the building level, considering carbon emissions related to operations, embodied materials, and refrigerants (including electrification, audits, and renewables); and the overall site perspective, encompassing renewables planning and electric vehicle electrification.

Jeff VanVoorhis presents on Friday, July 12, from 12-1:30 p.m., during the panel discussion titled “A Sustainable Reset for Airports.” In his presentation, he will discuss cutting-edge decarbonization options for airports. Specifically, he will explore various technologies applicable to airports, including solar power, combined heat and power (CHP), electrolysis/hydrogen production, Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems, and food waste digestion.
