Jeff VanVoorhis, Vice President of EPC Project Development, is presenting “Unlocking the Potential of Your POTW: Generating Renewable Energy and Maximizing Its Value. Adding Digesters in Florida for Biosolids Reduction.” at the 2024 Southwest Florida Water & Wastewater Expo. The one-day event takes place in Punta Gorda, FL on August 22. Jeff speaks from 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m. He will share various aspects of adding anaerobic digestion to wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), including increasing biogas production, co-digestion, and identifying suitable waste and substrates for digestion. Additionally, Jeff will discuss the conversion of biogas into renewable natural gas (RNG), combined heat and power (CHP), or compressed natural gas (CNG). He’ll also cover essential project drivers, government funding, incentives to boost revenue, and alternative project delivery methods for cost-effective construction and implementation.
