About the Course
The MBAA organizes the Maintenance Systems Course and the Brewing and Malting Science Course yearly to educate students on various brewery-related topics. Topics of the Malting & Brewing Science Course include life sciences for brewers, malting, hops, safety, brewery design and operations, wort, sensory, alternative beverages, and more.
Week 5: Brewery Wastewater – Real Issues for Any Size Brewery
Session and Q&A with Jeff VanVoorhis
Jeff VanVoorhis, Vice President of Project Development, will teach students about “Brewery Wastewater – Real Issues for Any Size Brewery” during the week of November 6. He will share his knowledge as an industry leader for students to understand how breweries deal with, manage, and reuse wastewater.
On Friday, November 10, from 1 – 4 p.m., Jeff will host a live discussion and Q&A session. He will offer insights gained from helping clients, including some of the largest brewers in the world, to prepare students for their careers in the brewing industry.
