The city of Issaquah expected community growth and development to continue. As the community grows, the city needs a stormwater system that can address the substantial increase in runoff from newly developed areas. Our engineers prepared a comprehensive stormwater model for a 577-acre master planned community development. This detailed model will be used to determine how the stormwater system can be optimized.
Our team’s stormwater management model incorporates city geographic information data, aerial photography and land use regulations. The model demonstrates that significant improvements can be made with minor construction costs, meaning the complex project could meet its tight budget. We relied on our long history of complex modeling to prepare a model with the appropriate amount of detail to give acceptable results but still meet the analysis budget.
