CSWEA 96th Annual Meeting

CSWEA (Central States Water Environment Association) strives to advance the fundamental knowledge of the water environment, its basic qualities, and physical laws governing its interaction with other aspects of the environment and with the aesthetic, economic, and biological needs of the earth’s inhabitants. The organization fosters an interest to get and stay involved with the future of the environment with the community in the central states region, including Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

The CSWEA Annual Meeting will be hosted in St. Paul, MN, May 22-24. Be sure to stop at Mead & Hunt’s booth #43 in the exhibition hall. Mead & Hunt is a bronze sponsor of the event and sponsors the event’s 5K Run/Walk.

Over 100,000 Diffusers Across 28 Basins: The Milwaukee MSD South Shore WRF Aeration Upgrade Story

During the CSWEA 96th Annual Meeting, Jonathan Butt, P.E., Project Manager, will co-present “Over 100,000 Diffusers Across 28 Basins: The Milwaukee MSD South Shore WRF Aeration Upgrade Story” with Lindsey Busch, P.E., Associate Vice President of Carollo Engineers. Their joint session takes place on Tuesday, May 23, 9:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. as part of Session C: Implementation. Jon will also moderate Session O: R2E on Wednesday, May 24.

What Are You Doing With YOUR Carbon?

Jeff VanVoorhis, Vice President of Project Development, will co-present “What Are You Doing With YOUR Carbon?” at the conference. Jeff will co-present the carbon workshop on Thursday, May 24, 1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. as part of Session O: R2E with Amanda Sheposh, Business Development Leader – Wastewater & Bioenergy of Johnson Controls, Inc. They will speak to how your POTW/WWTP can produce renewable energy, RNG vs. other biogas utilization options, capturing and layering funding, and project delivery methods. Find out how Mead & Hunt’s EPC project delivery method can cost-effectively and efficiently upgrade your facility to produce renewable energy.
