About the Conference
This workshop will focus on AC 150/5370-2G and provide an overview of operational safety on airports from project planning through the creation of the Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP). Participants will hear from the FAA, airport operators, and consultants about how project safety measures are planned, designed, and how it affects the construction of airfield projects at airports ranging from general aviation to large hub. Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP) creation and best practices will be discussed. It will also cover specific examples of safety measures, communication and coordination protocols, phase change considerations, and the ramifications of not complying. The roles and responsibilities of various team members and agencies will also be reviewed.
