Our values consistently drive us at Mead & Hunt. Our founder, Daniel Mead, was well-known for his stance on ethical engineering; a strong moral obligation to the communities we serve has been a part of our legacy for nearly 125 years. This legacy still guides our actions today. We know that the work we do impacts our clients, teaming partners, coworkers, and our communities, and that we therefore have a responsibility to make life better for those around us.
“Throughout this process we have asked ourselves critical questions: Do our governance practices make sense? Are we taking care of people? Are we doing the right thing? The ESG Report captures our commitment to these values.”
– Andy Platz, CEO
This is why we decided to formalize and take inventory of our practices in our first-ever Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. We are happy to state that this report is now complete, and can be found on our website.
Environmental, Social, and Governance are not just words. They are the pillars that uphold who we are and who we want to be as a firm.
- Environmental responsibility. We want to be a leader in positive, transformative change as we address challenges related to climate change.
- Social responsibility. We want to promote equity through our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) programs and in our project work.
- Corporate governance. Responsible and fair governance through our Board of Directors and corporate operations is a key tenet of our firm.
Above all, our goal is to take responsibility and continuously improve our impact on the world around us.
