Overview
The Airport Master Plan is a long-term strategic document that outlines the development of airport land and facilities. Its primary goal is to ensure that the Salem-Willamette Valley Airport (SLE) is prepared to meet future needs, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards while aligning with community interests. The Master Plan will propose future improvements aimed at enhancing operational safety, airport user needs, supporting community economic development goals, and achieving financial resiliency.

The Salem-Willamette Valley Airport (SLE), owned and operated by the City of Salem for its residents, values community input as we develop a plan for the coming decades. Public outreach will be conducted at key milestones throughout the project to allow for review and feedback. Additionally, this website will offer informational updates as the plan progresses and provide opportunities for ongoing public input.
