This private landfill needed assistance installing a system that would enable upgraded landfill gas to be injected into a utility natural gas pipeline. Symbiont, now a Mead & Hunt company, managed all construction-related activities, including building excavation and subcontractor commissioning. All trades were scoped out and bid by Symbiont. Additionally, installation of an entire landfill gas upgrading system, featuring an Air Liquide pressure swing absorption and membrane system, was included. Finally, we constructed a 10,000-square-foot masonry building to house high-Btu equipment with a fully-adhered TPO membrane roof.
