Former military hospital updated to education facility
The Horry-Georgetown Technical College Grand Strand Campus needed inspections done before they could convert a former US Air Force base hospital, originally built in 1957, into a new state of the art healthcare education facility. We completed building code inspections, special inspections and materials testing to facilitate this overhaul.
The former 55,000 square-foot, three-story former Air Force hospital was a $10 million renovation project transformed to become a teaching hospital.
