Eau Claire gains new airport terminal

Mead & Hunt developed a new terminal at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. Our team made flexibility a priority in the new facility’s design to accommodate regional growth forecasts through the next 20 years.

Located within 80 miles of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, EAU will continue to grow as a low-cost reliever carrier service. We designed for three phases: Phase I involved upgrading the existing terminal and building a small addition. Phase II saw the construction of the new aircraft parking ramp and the development of a terminal-area roadway network. Phase III was the construction of the ticketing and baggage claim areas.
