Kirk Lovell has joined Mead & Hunt, one of the nation’s leading full-service architecture-engineering consulting firms, augmenting the Aviation Services group and further expanding their air service development consulting services.
Kirk brings a wealth of airline industry knowledge and experience to the group. He has held leadership roles at Myrtle Beach International Airport for the last eight years. In his role as Director of Air Service & Business Development, Kirk implemented air service development strategies and managed the Airport’s overall air service development program. He successfully championed numerous new routes and recruited new airlines, often incorporating alternate data sources to strengthen the business case.
In addition, Kirk previously served as onsite Project Manager for Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), leading all domestic and international air service retention and development strategies and representing BWI at industry conferences around the world. He has been actively involved in several industry organizations, speaking at Airport Council International – North America (ACI-NA) and American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) conferences.
