About the Conference
Returning to an in-person format for the first time since 2019, members of ITE will be gathering in New Orleans for the 2022 International Annual Meeting and Exhibition. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from USDOT Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg and attend sessions on key issues facing the transportation industry.

Mead & Hunt project engineer Joshua Wolfgram will be participating in Tuesday afternoon’s podium session. During this session, he will be presenting on “Shifting Paradigms: How the District is Rethinking its Priorities at Traffic Signals to Enhance the Multimodal Experience”. This presentation will:
- Provide a brief overview of Mead & Hunt’s work on Washington DC’s optimization program
- Highlight some of the multimodal safety and mobility treatments employed and their tradeoffs
- Discuss the decision-making processes when evaluating competing treatments
