The Mead & Hunt Annual Awards Program exemplifies the values of our firm. 2021 marked the 10th year we hosted the program—10 years of celebrating the people who drive our success and enhance our culture. The program is designed to promote and recognize employees who make significant contributions to the success of the firm across seven categories:

- Culture Award
- Mead & Hunt Cares Award
- Published Papers
- Presentations Award
During our 2021 ceremony, we recognized 72 employees across all categories. Our Mentorship category was the largest competitive category this year, which is reflective of how well we are taking care of each other.
Most of these employees were recognized by their peers. This makes it a huge honor for those who received a nomination. Sometimes hard work can go unnoticed – if for no other reason than we get busy and forget. Being nominated by a peer truly shows that someone has made an impact.
Since we started the awards program 10 years ago, several hundred employees have been nominated over the years. Some who were nominated in the first year were nominated in the 10th as well. This speaks to not only the longevity of our success as a firm, but our enduring culture and values that continue to guide us.
Over the past few years especially, we have had to refine the program as we try to adjust to our hybrid work environment, but certain things remain the same. The idea of recognizing each other for our efforts, and sharing in that moment of celebration as a firm will continue on as we move forward.
